Some barangays in the countryside are difficult to access, and relief efforts were quite a challenge. Simbahang Lingkod ng Bayan (SLB) and Jaro Social Action Center (JASAC), together with SolarSolutions, installed 20 solar energy systems in Barangay Badyangan, Agbobolo, and Tubogan in Ajuy and Barangay Taloato in San Dionisio.

With the help of local barangay councilors, components and equipments were brought to the installation sites through motorcycles (habal-habal) or by trekking. Local officials also made their houses available for the SolarSolutions team to stay during the night.

These photos capture the beautiful places of these barangays as well as all the hard work of the people involved in this endeavor. We would like to thank SLB, JASAC, the local government of Iloilo for the continued support.
