Meet the People Behind SolarSolutions
The company is composed by a group of all-Filipino professionals with backgrounds spanning mathematics, engineering, entrepreneurship, information technology, finance, and law.
A lawyer from the Ateneo-based legal NGO Saligan, now a legal consultant at the Department of Agrarian Reform. He graduated with a degree in Math from Ateneo and law at UP. He currently serves as the General Manager of the company.
A faculty member at the Department of Electronics Communications and Computer Engineering (ECCE) at AdMU who holds a PhD in Physics. She is involved in extensive research on solar photovoltaic systems with several papers published on solar cell characterization.
Graduated with both a BS and MS degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Ateneo. Licensed engineer who worked at a solar panel production company in Laguna and currently runs the operations of the company.
An ECE major from Ateneo with a masters degree in Technology Management at UP. An IT professional by day with expertise in UX and Web development. Runs the communications and marketing efforts of SolarSolutions
Mechanical Engineering graduate and currently head engineer and project implementor at SolarSolutions. He makes fast and flexible solar power systems for communities.
SJ Jesuit priest and social entrepreneur. TED fellow. He teaches at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business. Sits on the board of several social enterprises including co-founded enterprises Rags to Riches community and Uma Republika.
President and CEO, SEDPI Group of Social Enterprises; Faculty, Ateneo de Manila University Program Manager, Ateneo Microfinance Capacity Building Program. Graduated from Ateneo de Manila University and the Asian Institute of Management.
