The buildings of the Pangangan Elementary School has been destroyed by the earthquake of magnitude 7.8. After the earthquake, there were sinkholes that make the school area unstable. The drinking water system is solar powered which makes the water safe for drinking by school children and the community. SolarSolutions along with the Microsourcing Micro Mission team made the trek to Tayabasan to distribute solar powered lanterns and train residents on their use.
